  작가 소개

저자 : 전호태
‘고구려 고분벽화’ 연구의 토대를 다져, 그 우수성을 널리 알려온 세계적 석학. 서울대학교 국사학과를 졸업하고 동대학원에서 박사학위를 받은 후 국립중앙박물관 학예연구사, 문화재청 문화재 전문위원, 미국 UC버클리대학교 및 하버드대학교 방문교수를 역임했다. 현재는 반구대암각화유적보존연구소 소장으로 있으며, 울산대학교 박물관장 및 울산대학교 역사문화학과 교수로 재직 중이다. 대표 저서로 『울산 반구대암각화 연구』『고분벽화로 본 고구려 이야기』『벽화여, 고구려를 말하라』『고구려 사람들은 왜 벽화를 그렸나요』『어린이박물관 고구려』『미리 가 본 북한유물박물관』(공저) 외 다수가 있다.
